Encoder Strip

Encoder Strip products are linear scale strips used by the carriage encoder sensor to read printhead position. Correct encoder strip selection is essential for stable carriage movement and print alignment.

Choose encoder strips by printer model, length, width, pitch/scale type and original strip marking. Epson, Roland, Mutoh and Mimaki strips can look similar but are not interchangeable.

Install carefully and keep the strip clean. Scratches, ink mist, dust or wrong orientation can cause carriage errors, banding or position faults.
