EPSON i3200-A1

Applicable ink: water-based ink (such as thermal sublimation, pigment, dye)

Core Features:

  • Specially designed for water-based ink system;
  • The physical structure does not protect against corrosive liquids (such as UV);
  • The printing precision is high, up to 600dpi×2 lines, suitable for high-definition patterns.

Application scenarios:

  • Sublimation printing (polyester fabric);
  • Digital direct printing (DTG water-based pigment ink);
  • Water-based digital wallpaper, label, and inkjet cloth production line;
  • Not suitable for UV ink or solvent ink systems.

Common equipment: domestic thermal sublimation machine, leather proofing machine, water-based photo paper printing equipment

EPSON i3200-U1

Applicable ink: UV ink (hard or soft)

Core Features:

  • Specially developed for UV ink, strengthened internal channels for corrosion protection;
  • Compatible with white ink and varnish printing, flexible multi-channel control;
  • Built-in heating improves ink fluidity for more stable printing;
  • High drop control precision for high-resolution output.

Application scenarios:

  • UV flatbed (acrylic, glass, metal, PVC);
  • UV roll-to-roll (soft film, backlit film, PET, PP, etc.);
  • UV DTF (cold transfer);
  • Various inkjet curing structures.

Common equipment: A3/A2 UV printers, 60 cm roll UV machine, leather UV proofing

EPSON i3200-E1

Applicable ink: Eco-solvent / Mild solvent

Core Features:

  • Solvent-compatible structure; corrosion protection between A1 and U1;
  • Corrosion-resistant resin encapsulation for outdoor advertising & oil-based use;
  • Slightly higher accuracy than DX5 with very stable output.

Application scenarios:

  • Photo printing, backlit cloth, car stickers, etc.;
  • Outdoor waterproof/sun-proof needs with oil-based inks;
  • Not recommended for UV or highly corrosive liquids.

Common equipment: Eco-solvent photo printers, oil-based signage machines, solvent roll printers

How to Quickly Determine Which Nozzle You Should Choose?

  • Printing on fabric / water-based ink → A1
  • Glass, acrylic, PET / UV ink → U1
  • Folding screen, PP paper, car stickers / solvent ink → E1

PS: Although the product models all include “i3200”, they are not fully universal. Cavity structure, drive voltage, and anti-corrosion materials differ. Choosing the wrong one can cause clogging, color shift, or even damage.
